Recipe of pesto pasta;
An easy recipe for pesto pasta is given below:
- 100 grams of pasta (such as spaghetti or linguine)
- 2 cups of basil leaves, fresh
- grated Parmesan cheese, half a cup
- 50 g of pine nuts
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- Extra virgin olive oil, half a cup
- pepper and salt as desired
Instruction;
- Pasta should be cooked as directed on the package until it is al dente.
- Make the pesto while the pasta is cooking. Combine the basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Until very finely chopped, process.
- Olive oil should be added gradually while the food processor is operating to provide a well-combined mixture.
- Drain the cooked pasta, then add it back to the saucepan.
- Mix the pesto sauce thoroughly with the pasta.
- If preferred, top the boiling spaghetti with more freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
